Increased use of remote monitoring will allow to reduce hospital visits, consequently reduce risk of exposue the COVID-19, while at the same time reduce the burden on healthcare providers.

This extension will be limited to the duration of the public emergency period.

Possible consequence might consist of allowing devices originally cleared for home setting only.
